Why Custom Photography?

When someone hasn’t experienced Custom Photography, they aren’t sure what to expect. I strive to make it an experience that’s all about you and your families needs. This differs significantly from a typical photography experience, as Custom Photography is an investment in art, individualized experience, and client service.

Individualized Experience

I consider it one of my highest priorities to capture the unique style and personalities of the Seniors I photograph, and to preserve them as photographic art. One of the first things I do when you schedule a session is to get to know you and your needs better, so I can craft an amazing Custom Portrait experience that will make you look and feel like a million bucks! As we get to know each other, we go through a number of questions that assist me in customizing your photography experience and discuss wardrobe styling — all of which allows us to create your dream Senior Experience!

The Art

Following your session, is where even more magic happens. I spend many hours retouching and editing your images to ensure that they are polished works of art that you would proudly display on your walls. Once your gallery is ready, I will email you and present a slideshow containing all your final images. At that time, I will assist you in making image selections — I am able to guide you through my portrait collections, show you actual samples of product options, demonstrate how your images will look in various sizes and configurations on the walls of your home, and assist you in choosing images for your custom leather or linen album.

Client SerVIce

In my experience, it can be very advantageous to have someone guide you through the ordering process and demonstrate how to best showcase your images, which is why I prefer in-person ordering sessions. Nothing breaks my heart more than hearing that people who receive or purchase digital files often simply file away their CD or flash drive, and never actually get around to printing their images. They are missing out on the daily enjoyment of the art — the beautiful pictures of their loved ones gracing the walls of their home. I want to make sure that my clients can cherish seeing their images every day for years to come.
